INTRODUCTION

All goods available at Shoppers World are sold by individual retailers. Full details of terms and conditions of sale, purchase, delivery and return of goods are set out on each individual retailer’s site. You can buy from different stores using the same cart and single check-out. Your details and payment will be processed separately by each retailer.

Please note that, when shopping, in order to take advantage of the security software operating at Shoppers World, you will need to use Netscape 3.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 as a minimum which both support secure socket layer. The browser option menu will also need to be set to accept cookies.

Use of any part of Shoppers World is subject to certain disclaimers of liability.

Newsquest hosts Shoppers World but all purchases by users are made from individual retailers. The user should therefore look to the specific retailer from whom it purchases goods or services to establish what warranties, terms and conditions apply to such purchase. Newsquest shall have no liability to any user, and makes no representations or warranties (express or implied) to any user, with respect to retailers appearing in Shoppers World, the items displayed in or the contents of these retailers' sites and in particular, without limitation, gives no warranties or representations as to merchantability or fitness for purpose of any goods being sold. In addition, all information accessible via this site is provided by the retailers and Newsquest shall have no liability to any user, and does not represent or warrant to any user, that any information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current.

For the avoidance of doubt, Newsquest does not exercise any editorial control over retailers' sites.

Except as specifically stated by Newsquest on this site and so far as permitted by law, Newsquest will not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use of Shoppers World. However, for the avoidance of doubt, Newsquest does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent it arises as a result of the negligence of Newsquest or its employees.

As a user of Shoppers World, you agree to indemnify Newsquest against any claims, losses, expenses or liabilities which it may incur as a result of your misuse or unlawful use of Shoppers World or the server on which it is located including, without limitation, arising from any spamming activity, defamatory statements, use of pornography or infringement of intellectual property or other third party rights carried out by you or for which you are responsible.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These disclaimer and indemnity provisions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters relating to these terms.
