Available this year for the first time, The Herald Book of Crosswords
contains 75 puzzles from the paper's formidable stable of compilers,
regarded as the most diverse in Scotland. It features an introduction to The
Herald's crosswords and compilers by Crosswords Editor Calum Macdonald, a selection of cryptic and quick puzzles and, from John McKie
(Myops), five examples of the Wee Stinker, which has a cult following but
also a reputation for being probably the most difficult crossword in
Britain.
