Everleigh Farm Shop Ltd are farmers and traditional West Country butchers with a serious concern for the rearing, quality and production of the animals and meat which is sold through the shop and by Mail Order.

For a period of twenty years the company had supplied two local butchers with all their shot game in the winter as well as their Christmas turkeys, ducks and geese, but when both butchers took the decision to retire, it was decided to extend the range of sales and to open the Farm Shop.

Today it is imperative that the history of each animal is known. For this reason the company work very closely with the abattoir, which is only fifteen miles away, and from whom 90 % of the meat sold is purchased, where it is not produced here on the farm.

Through the autumn and winter the products sold in the shop and by Mail Order, are extended to include grouse, as from mid August, partridge and mallard as from September and pheasants as from October. To complement the birds, ground game - to include rabbits, hares and venison are available. All the shot game produced is supplied ready for the oven. At Christmas, in addition to traditional poultry, a large number of hampers, in Somerset wicker baskets are filled and sent by Mail Order, for both private and corporate Christmas presents.

Virtually all items that are sold in the shop are available for purchase through the web site or by Mail Order in the United Kingdom. In the shop there is a large range of wine, that is imported direct from France each month. Through the numerous continental clients of the company, there are direct imports on a regular basis of salami and prosciutto hams from Italy, with refrigerated Italian vehicles arriving at the farm shop.
